“The inspiration for SmileCase came from our 4 year old daughter, who like any child is not a fan of car journeys (especially long ones!). So armed with an iPad filled with Peppa Pig we set about creating a prototype case that would easily fit to any headrest with no fuss, whilst also keeping the shiny Apple device safe from sticky fingers and accidental drops to the floor of the car. Within 2 minutes we knew we were onto something when silence reigned and the journey literally flew by. ‘Are We There Yet?’ asked our daughter? ‘Yes we are!’ we replied.
As well as being functional we also wanted SmileCase to act as a stylish stand alone case. The adjustable strap is easily removable and the case is hand made from soft real leather with an impeccable finish.
Expect a case designed for iPad 2 at the end beginning of July and a range of different colours in the pipeline.
